Vinco David Foundation

He grew up in Brabant and the North Holland town of Castricum, studied political science in Amsterdam and then rose to become a top executive in the global credit insurance industry. He also wrote three novels:

He was happily married for 25 years to his great love, trend watcher Adjiedj Bakas. As a colorful power couple, they led fascinating lives, built a loving vramilie (=self-selected family of friends and selected blood relatives) and nurtured vrolleagues (=colleagues and other business associates with whom they became friends).

They traveled all over the world, immersed themselves in different cultures, built a museum art collection and created their own “fairy tale house” (dixit business magazine Quote), first in Amsterdam, then in Almere.
